Taussig Landscape is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our Garden Center team during our season. This role is essential in delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining plant quality, and supporting efficient daily retail operations.

This is a seasonal opportunity with part-time or full-time hours available based on availability and business demand.

Typical Season: Spring through early Fall (weather dependent)

Pay

$13.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with plant selection, product recommendations, and basic plant care guidance
• Water, groom, and maintain plant material to ensure top-quality presentation
• Merchandise and restock plants, soil, mulch, trees, and retail products
• Load customer purchases safely and efficiently
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment
• Collaborate with the landscaping and retail teams to support overall operations

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Willingness to learn plant knowledge and product information

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous retail, nursery, or landscaping experience
• Cash handling or POS system experience
• Interest in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture

Schedule Expectations

• Weekend availability required during peak spring season
• Flexible scheduling based on weather and seasonal demand
