Landscape & Irrigation Technician

What You’ll Do

As a member of our Landscape & Irrigation team, you’ll help create and maintain beautiful outdoor environments while learning valuable skills in the green industry.

Responsibilities may include:

• Installing high-quality landscapes throughout the Manhattan area
• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, mulch, and decorative rock
• Building retaining walls, patios, outdoor living spaces, and water features
• Installing and repairing residential and commercial irrigation systems
• Assisting with grading, seeding, and hydroseeding
• Operating equipment such as skid steers and compact equipment (training available)
• Maintaining trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment
• Communicating professionally with customers on job sites
• Using a smartphone for timekeeping and job documentation
• Supporting company policies, core values, and a positive team culture

Experience in landscape construction, irrigation, construction, farming, or equipment operation is a plus, but not required.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating skid steers or similar equipment
• Experience pulling trailers
• Plant knowledge
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Desire to grow personally and professionally

ICPI, NCMA, irrigation, or other industry certifications are a plus. We’re happy to invest in training and certification for the right candidate.
