Our Process

Working with a landscape company shouldn’t feel complicated. At Taussig Landscape, our experienced designers guide you through the entire landscape design and installation process, making it clear, comfortable, and stress-free from start to finish.

Step 1: Get in Touch

When we receive your online submission or phone call, our office team reviews your information. Your request is then routed to the designer best suited for your needs. You can expect a call from your designer within three to five business days to talk through your ideas, budget range, and overall project goals.

Step 2: Design & Budget Conversation

During this conversation, your designer will answer initial questions, discuss timelines, and recommend the design approach that best fits your project. This may include a detailed landscape design to help you visualize the finished space, or a simpler approach for straightforward projects. Some projects may only require a simple estimate, which we’re happy to provide at no charge.

Step 3: On-Site Consultation

If needed, we’ll schedule an on-site visit to walk the property, take measurements, and discuss how you plan to use the space. This is a great time to share plant preferences, materials you like, and any ideas you’ve been considering. Having all decision-makers present helps keep the process efficient and aligned.

Step 4: Review Your Design & Proposal

After the site visit, your designer prepares your landscape design (if applicable) along with a clear, itemized estimate. These are typically emailed for easy review. We’re happy to answer questions, make minor adjustments, and show samples of proposed materials.

Step 5: Scheduling & Installation

Once the design and pricing are approved, your project is scheduled based on the season, scope of work, and availability. A deposit is required to secure your place on the schedule and order materials. From there, our installation team takes care of the rest.
